CANCELLED: Unfortunately, we’ve had to CANCEL the Northside Community Easter BBQ this year due to the heavy rainfall at the church location. Even after the change in location, the rain has not made it possible to have a fun and safe family event. We will be scheduling an alternative event, so stay tuned for more info about that.
This is a fun, family-friendly community event for our community on the north side of Tallahassee. And it gets bigger every year. The best part is it’s absolutely free!
What to Expect
- BBQ lunch catered by a local Tally favorite, Johnston’s Meat Market
- Live local blues music by Mike “Salty” Lanigan and Allie McKay
- Easter egg hunts for all ages (see schedule below)
- Pony Rides
- Face painting
- Easter crafts
- …and lots more!
What to Bring
- Sunscreen (it could get kinda bright out there!)
- Lawn chairs
- Easter Baskets
- Play clothes for the kids (any rain on the days prior might make some spots a little muddy)
Egg Hunt Schedule
11:15 – 2 & 3 yr olds
11:45 – 4 & 5 yr olds
12:15 – 6 & 7 yr olds
12:45 – 8 & 9 yr olds
1:15 – 10 & older
1:45 – All ages!
We’re sure you and your family will have a blast, and many families have already made this an annual tradition. God has been very gracious to our church, and we simply desire to graciously serve our community by providing this event for our neighbors in Northside Tallahassee.
The Easter BBQ has been moved to the Wildwood Church location at the corner of Meridian Rd and Ox Bottom Rd. The address is 100 Ox Bottom Rd. Use the map below for specific directions from your starting point.
If you have any questions, simply contact us. Otherwise, we’ll look forward to seeing you there this Easter season!
If you are a member of Wildwood, click here to serve at the event or participate in our Smoked Meats Fundraiser.
